Department Remote Sensing, Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research - UFZ

I am a PhD student in the working group Terrestrial Water Dynamics at the Department of Remote Sensing at the Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research – UFZ. As an environmental scientist with strong interest in data science I am analyzing climate data to disentangle land-atmospheric feedbacks in the context of extreme events. For my PhD project in the MoDEV cohort I am using process-based modeling and Deep Learning methods with a focus on estimating large-scale evaporation.
